How To: Set Video Review Availability Options
Need help setting up your Video Review availability options?
Follow these simple steps to customize your review limits and expected response time:
Step 1: Locate your Video Review in the Content Library
Access the Creator Portal and select the Content option from the main menu.
Select the 'Video Review' option from the available content types.
Then browse or search for the specific Review that you want to set availability for:
Note: If you do not have any reviews yet, create one using the 'Create Content' button instead
Step 2: Access the 'Set Review Availability' section on the content page
On the content page for your video review, scroll down until you see this section:
Select setup and you will see the Set Review Availability options like this:
There are three new fields available but the Average Review Time is the only one required.
Step 3: Set Average Review Time
Choose the number of hours/days it usually takes for a review to be completed:
Note: Dont forget to SAVE on the content form to apply this to your review.
Once published, it will look like this on the users site for a review with legacy layout:
And it will appear next to the content price on modern layout reviews:
Step 4: Set Active Review Capacity (optional)
To set the a limit for your reviewing capacity, you will want to add a value to this field:
Decide how many active reviews can be in your queue before your busy message (Step 5) is triggered.
Note: Dont forget to SAVE on the content form to apply this to your review.
Your Active reviews are the ones with this yellow 'Ready' badge on the left hand side:
Step 5: Set Capacity Reached Message (optional)
To set a custom busy message for customers to see, all you need is to fill in this section:
Remember, this message only shows once the active review capacity that you set above is reached.
Note: Dont forget to SAVE on the content form to apply this to your review.
Now whenever a customer visits your Video Review's page and your capacity has been reached,
they will see your message like on this review using the legacy layout:
Or it will look like this when using the modern layout:
Once the Video Review availabilty options have been set and saved, they will now take effect.
If your Video Review is still in draft/hidden status, this will all take effect once it is Published.
